In the quest to broaden our ever-expanding Margaret minds we have introduced a monthly club of discovery: the Margaret Show&Tell. On the first Friday of every month a different creative name will be given 20 minutes to present the Margaret team with an insight into the hows and whys of what they do, and the Margaret team will present them with biscuits.
May Show&Tell - Hellicar&Lewis
Joel Lewis revealed the creative partnerships’ initiatives into experiences that involve art, technology and design, focusing on pulling people into a moment and creating a lasting memory. The Margaret team sat in rapt attention as Joel explained their concept of broadcasting a moment, the importance of truth in advertising, and how seemingly banal ideas in one field may prove groundbreaking in another. We looked at brilliant Hellicar&Lewis creations such as an interactive video art piece which featured moving bugs on a screen crawling onto people’s arms when touched, a multi-touch sculptural object in the studio for Coca Cola 24 hour music allowing the confined band Maroon 5 to interact with fans tweets in real time, the twitter responsive Hello Cube sculpture in the Tate Turbine Hall, and their current video work with Boiler Room.
Just before our 20 minute countdown ended Joel asked the question “what if everyone had a channel?”
If we had a channel we would be reading this aloud to you, and we would probably never leave you alone.

After months of hard planning and serious popcorn tasting, Margaret finally unleashed the lola&grace Unlock London installation onto Westfield Stratford which showcased the brand personality of the new range of fashion jewellery from Swarovski.
The ampersand shaped structure housed a mini disco, cinema, sweet tree and mobile photo booth. 3000 keys were presented to shoppers to unlock each room before attempting to open a locked jewellery box containing the sort of prizes that we would rugby tackle someone for. Popcorn was given out, lollipops and jewellery were won, and all Margaret staff were swiftly ordered off the dance floor.
The Unlock London campaign runs online until the end of April; take a look & try your luck at www.lolaandgrace.com or facebook.com/lolaandgrace

AN OPEN LETTER TO NYC
The fabulous ‘Fashion in Film Festival’ is heading to MOMI in NY next month. We worked on the festival when it was in London a couple of years ago. Entitled ‘If Looks Could Kill’ the festival examines the relationship between fashion, film and crime. We can highly recommend ‘The Tenth Victim’ (a sci-fi comedy - starring Bond Girl Ursula Andress as a glamazon human hunter - which was shamelessly plundered by the creators of Austin Powers). Click the photo for more info.

Rub Club
Not as rude as it sounds, but just as fun. Our very own Harry launches his debut night at the ever popular Sebright Arms this Friday. It’s only £3 entry but you have to arrive before 11pm as it’s a bit of a lock-in in the basement. Expect disco, house, funk, boogie and more. We hear the special guests are two chart topping chaps who know their music inside-out…

FRANKENAILS! We love monsters and high glamour so what could be a more seamless fusion of both than a set of these bad boys. Check out http://nailsporn.tumblr.com/ for an array of manicures that would have Nomi Malone pushing the entire cast of Goddess down the stairs in a jealous rage.
